Overview
Bisa Ekspor exists to help Indonesian SMEs get their products into global markets. It started as a blank canvas: no legacy code, no inherited decisions — just a product problem and a mandate to build it properly.
I owned the architecture from day one, designing a React Native codebase that could grow from MVP to a full product without rewrites. The structure, state model and navigation patterns were chosen for how the team would actually work on it for years, not for the first release.

Approach
- 01
Greenfield, done deliberately
Early architectural decisions — module boundaries, navigation, state — were made to survive years of feature growth.
- 02
Reusable product modules
Onboarding, catalog and services were built as portable modules, so sibling products could reuse the same foundations.
- 03
Mobile-first reliability
State and data handling designed for real-world conditions: flaky networks and impatient users.
03
Delivered
End-to-end product
From onboarding to core product flows, shipped to both app stores.
Product module foundations
Reusable React Native modules that powered sibling applications.
State & navigation design
A Redux state model and navigation structure built to scale with the roadmap.

Impact
- A flagship product delivered from scratch — stable, maintainable and shipped to real users on both platforms.
- Foundations that outlived the first release and paid for themselves across the product family.
